Passenger Trains > Borealis 1333 - Delayed

Guess I'll start today's delay thread.

1333 estimayed out of Chicago 1pm, 2 hours late. Last night they had to use train 318's consist to run to Milwaukee and back down on today's 332. (North facing charger, two baggage cars for axle count, dinette and four ventures). This set will run through Chicago as a late 319 after cutting the north facing engine. 319 is estimated to depart Chicago at noon (2 hours and 10 mins late) due to late servicing caused by the need to run the set as 341 last night and 332 today.

350 is out of Chicago 3 hours and 50 mins late due to "late equipment release from the yard" followed by "equipment issues". This will cause the usual Michigan line ripple effect with crews being out of sync. Amtrak does apologize for the extensive delay. 

301 was 53 mins late out of Chicago due to "late release of equipment from the train yard". 

1340 cancelled out of St Paul due to frozen/inop toilets. 519 south and 164 north. Will probably deadhead to Chicago at some point to get the equipment fixed up for 1333 tomorrow. Interestingly 341 does not show as cancelled tonight.

Let's give this a shot. 

1333 left Chicago 4 hours late (like usual lately). 7 was only 17 mins late out of Chicago but experienced PTC issues at Mayfair, then again at Glenview for 30 mins (causing Metra delays single tracking Morton Grove to A20). 7 is now 2 and 1/2 hours late after adding the engine in Milwaukee. 1340 was cancelled and run to Chicago as a deadhead due to frozen toilets. They ended up giving their west facing engine to 7 in Milwaukee. 341 was cancelled due to no equipment to run north out of Chicago at 8:05pm. 

21 was on-time. 3 was on-time. 5 was 2 hours and 30 mins late. 

59 was 2 hours and 44 mins late. 41 was an hour and 1/2 late. 48 estimating a 1:15am estimated departure. 

364 was 3 hours and 26 minutes late. 354 was an hour and 26 mins late. 

Better luck tomorrow. We will see if the toilets are fixed for an on-time 1333.
