Passenger Trains > Basking in winter's sunshine...Date: 02/04/25 11:53 Basking in winter's sunshine... Author: Pattenburg is NJT's Erie heritage paint scheme 4210. Pulling into the station at 11:28 on Tuesday morning, this diesel arrived in Hackettstown (NJ) leading NJT's train 0851 on the Morris & Essex Line. 4210 is the former PC 3182, a GP40, that was built in 1968. It would later become CR 3182 when NJT purchased it from CR and had it rebuilt as a GP40PH-2B. As for the original Hackettstown station that once was here, it was razed in the late sixties.
