5 just resumed travel

6 got  wrenched on, now moving  03/07/25 12:08am EST
_ Travel Update: As of 10:04 PM MT California Zephyr Train
_ 6 which departed Emeryville (EMY) on 3/5 has resumed travel
_ and is operating approx. 8hrs 20 mins late.

so they had to recrew + wonder if a loco from 5 has been added to 6?

_ and is operating approx. 6hrs 45 mins late.

UP pilot even helped 5 go west, #6 had to leave the lead engine at bond, one unit wonder thru the moffat, freight engine added at denver,  shown passing Akron on the Viaero cams  before 630 am and yuma a half hour later with the pumkin propelling it eastward.   fri the ski train get delayed  setting out a coach, wonder if next #5 from Chi will bring one?

YouTuber Mike Jensen records all the no. 5's going through Ft. Morgan. He recorded the late no. 6 as well while no. 5 was in hole at Brush for the meet.
