VIA Rail Heading Over Donner?

An eastbound ViaRail psgr train just passed Colfax with a UP unit leading.  What's the deal with that?  It should pass the Truckee cam in a few hours.  Was following a rather long eastbound manifest.

Perhaps a train set built by Siemens in Sacramento being delivered to Canada?
