Passenger Trains > Morning at South NorwalkDate: 03/13/25 06:07 Morning at South Norwalk Author: RevRandy Here's a shot of what occurs most weekday mornings in South Norwalk, Connecticut (if everyone is running on time) - Metro North train 1841, the 7:51 am train from Danbury direct to GCT, comes down (very slowly) off the Danbury Branch, just as Amtrak Acela 2153 makes its appearance. Makes for a great show of two of the opposite poles of passenger rail in the US - older, slower, diesel-powered commuter rail and electric higher speed rail.
