Yesterdays Sunset Limited in Rosenberg

A little over an hour late as the seven car eastbound passes through Rosenberg,Tx on the old Sunset Route.
BNSF ex-Santa Fe Galveston line is the double track.

Nice to see this.  I assume tower 17 control box is just off to the left.  Looks awful sparse there.  Wide open space with no other traffic.  Good for you.

This is a short distance up from the Tower 17 site.
The control boxes to the left at the old station site.

Nice shot. All the way to east Texas and only an hour late. Not bad for #2.

It was till the early 80's.
Also the Lone Star had a flagstop there till the train was discontinued.
