Amtrak AFTER dark along the NEC
Author: Mgoldman

Bristol, AFTER dark  : D

Been trying for a dang night pan without noise nor a blown out mega LED headlight.
Any shadow recovery will have to wait until 2030 and perhaps a Nikon Z6V, lol.

Got the pan, anyway - 1/30th at ISO 360 in Bristol, PA - eastbound 2-3-25.

Expose for the headlights - which with these new locomotives and they’re crazy intense LED headlights usually means everything else is under exposed unless you have plenty of ambient light. I was hoping I could pull some shadows and highlights, but like I said, I might have to wait a few years for camera technology to catch up!

Taking after dark to an entire new level.  Some much more
to my liking that the perfect sun, .75 wedgie.  But, that's just me.
