Passenger Trains > Belated Rocky Mountaineer PostDate: 04/07/25 21:46 Belated Rocky Mountaineer Post Author: Paniolo_man Two weekends ago I drove down to Eastern Utah to get a few photos/videos of Rocky Mountaineer returning from their SLC test train. Other than a handful of other railfans that liked taking their videos from uncomforatably close to the tracks, the desert was quiet and peaceful.

There should be plenty of P42s that are surplus and could be rebuilt. CDOT Did it. Look at What Metra did with the SD70 Macs.
