Running Late, And 102 Minutes From Spokane

Number 27 was running late, and 102 minutes from Spokane when I caught it rounding a curve between Lind and Beatrice this morning.

Rode  rhis  train Good  Friday. Good  crew.  Good  food.  On  time.  Filthy. Got  a  nice  voucher  because  Amtrak  does  not  wash  this  section of  NILDER!!

Was on Empire Builder recently and the Seattle section was ok - at least the windows - while the Portland section including the Sightseer Lounge Car was absolutely filthy!

Being that Portland does not have a wash rack this is not surprising.
