Passenger Trains > # 50

What is up with train 50, It appeared to be about 9 hours late into Cincinnati.

Talked to CRZYTRN earlier today out in INDY.

He can correct me on what I have missed out on. Wasnt at the computer so I was asked to post for him.


From what I understand there was some problems with the AC on the coaches last night before departure and they were replaced.

Broken Knuckle on UP train, left them sitting in the water.

A Train on the B&O Set them back for a bt due to no sidings that they could take.


Right now it is ETA 10hrs late to CLF.

Just left Huntington,WV at 7:15 pm,10 hours & 32 minutes late.

Departed Prince at 1003pm 10-1/2 hours late.
Washington Commisary better stock breakfasts (preferably complimentary) since it will be after 6am before it gets out of DC.

10-45 Mins late to Clifton Forge. Broken rail on the james river sub tonight too. Walking trains across till crews get there to fix it.

Over 11 hours late getting into Charlottesville,VA arrived at 3:38 am,OUCH!!! glad I wasn't on that train ith all of those unhappy people.

Came by at 1:03 am this morning runnin with the wind.

It arrived 10 hours and 49 minutes late into WAS. Gotta feel pity for the crew and passengers on that train.

Well the crew was fresh,they changed at Charlottesville.#51 was on time into C'ville so the crew went to the hotel till #50 showed up.But I am sure there were some very unhappy persons on board that train.If they were only 10 hours & 49 minutes into WAS at least they were able to make up some time after leaving C'ville.
