Passenger Trains > Amtrak Track Maintenance until Nov. 18th

Amtrak is performing maintenance on one of the main tracks from CP-Avenue (New York Ave.) to Landover MD. interlocking until November 18th. This will cause some Amtrak and MARC Penn Line delays. Right now, n bright yellow-green Amtrak undercutter machine is working the main line right outside my window at Ivy City. Hopefully it will still be in the area tomorrow when I will bring in my digital camera.

Go for it, and that's also letting those jerks in DC know Amtrak is still getting things on a state of good repair on the NEC, that right of way where they did major overhauls (Zoo being the last one I heard on this board) is probably looking really sharp!

Bad news, the Undercutter has moved up the line, so no pictures.

That sucks, well still, nice job Amtrak, at least something good is coming out of this! If you do run into it, make sure you got your camera!
