International Railroad Discussion > More trolley busses for Valparaiso, ChileDate: 04/07/14 05:15 More trolley busses for Valparaiso, Chile Author: PERichardson Valparaiso, home of the world's oldest (one dating from 1948) operating trolley busses, is taking delivery of ten rebuilt/upgraded trolley busses from Lucerne, Switzerland. Built in 1989 by Mercedes Benz, they have been upgraded to the latest high-tech standards. They also have a couple of new Chinese busses. Presumably most of the old fleet will continue to operate as they are expanding the system.
