Derailed late Tuesday, freight train, around 60 hitch hikers killed, though causalities expected to raise when rolled wagons and scattered containers lifted. Swampy ground hindering crane access. Took rescuers close to 18 hours to access wreck site. Bodies starting to putrefy so are being buried in a pit excavated next to the line. Rescue crews have had to battle with looters stripping bodies and pilfering cargo
