Istanbul Tram, Funicular and Station
Author: andersonb109

I put this on the International board since the photos are on the Asian side of Istanbul. On last weekends visit to Istanbul, with the help of a private guide, we found this rather famous (as its on may tourist shirts at the various Istanbul tourist shops) tram. It runs from the top of the "Tunel Yasinda" Funicular to Taksim Square. Last photo is the famous Haydarpasa Station. It is currently closed pending completion of the new high speed side for Asian services. Note the plinthed loco in the foreground.
