I thought the RDC at Port Adelaide was from Western Australia. Until fairly recently, the "Prospector" operated between Perth and Kalgoorlie WA. Author: AussieGWAdriver The Budd RDC was imported into South Australia from the USA by the Commonwealth Railways in 1951. It was one of three, These are full size Budd RDC's where as the one's for NSW were built in Australia to NSW's loading gauge. The three in South Australia were all out of service by the end of 1990. CB1 and CB2 are preserved while CB3 was scrapped after a fatal level crossing accident.
