FMG SD9043MAC in Australia's Pilbara

On FMG's Pilbara rail network in Western Australia, SD70ACe 712 and SD9043MAC 907 push on the back of a loaded iron ore train in the Chichester Range this morning (24 April 2017).

Very nice.How many of the 9043's does Skippy own.The country up there looks good after the wet season.

This one, with two locos on the front, 250 ore cars and two locos on the back was 9,330 feet long.

FMG has 17 "SD90MAC" locomotives. Almost all of them had been in storage until recently when the iron ore price went up and they were returned to traffic. As far as I can tell most of those running now have had their original 16-265H engines replaced with 16-710G3B engines.
