International Railroad Discussion > I am missing the old CVRD (Brazil)Date: 06/07/17 18:10 I am missing the old CVRD (Brazil) Author: pedrop Well, the old Companhia Vale do Rio Doce - CVRD changed the name to simply "Vale" a few years ago. It also changed the colors from brown & white to green and yellow. Nowadays it is very rare to see a locomotive using the old CVRD initials and colors. Pic below taken at Eldorado yard in 2006. I am missing that times.

It is/was essentially the first BNSF paint scheme with the colors changed. The font for the road numbers are the same as BNSF used. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/08/17 20:13 by BNSF6400. None left in the USA that I know of.
Nice paint job. Date: 06/13/17 15:25 Re: I am missing the old CVRD (Brazil) Author: pedrop Yes, the dual gauge territory is the most interesting here, because we can expect to find many types of locomotives and cars.
