International Railroad Discussion > VLI can train derail (Brazil)Date: 11/07/17 09:18 VLI can train derail (Brazil) Author: pedrop Hi, an empty can train derail in Janaúba, MG yesterday due to a washout of the tracks after heavy rains. The engineer was enjuried and sent to hospital.

Date: 11/08/17 13:17 Re: VLI can train derail (Brazil) Author: pedrop The photo shows the engineer auxiliary. He had a broken leg and couldn't leave the cab until the rescue team arrive. The engineer could leave the cab and look for help to his fellow.

The consist was three locomotives U20C (3857, 2564 and 2683) and 29 empty tank cars for chemical.
