Hi, today I took some pics of an interesting crossing here in town. Grain train J609 did a crossing with wood train C176. Both were big trains and we almost had a problem since the C176 had only a few meters to allow J609 to pass.

What gauge is this??

Great pictures, quick question with all the grass (vegetation ) how do they inspect the track and do maintainance and does this grow up through the ballast
Are they not allowed to weed spray.

Hi, vli and Vale are meter gauge (1,000 mm) here in my area. But MRS is broad gauge ,(1,600mm), so we have dual gauge around here.

Hi, the weed grows up in the Spring and Summer due to the rains, but it will dry in the end of Summer. In locations near rivers and urban areas it is not allowed to use weed spray. In a few weeks it will be dry.
