Helsinki to Vladivostok-Part 22

Day 3 on the train and we have reached Krasnoyarsk which is 4000 kilometres (roughly 2500 miles) east of Moscow.
Picture 1 - shows the general station scene with the elegant station building in the background
Picture 2 - shows the more rugged terrain that the train would be heading into
Picture 3 - shows the Cyrillic station name

Krasnoyarsk is where a lot of Soviet Union era intelligence and military stuff was centered, Maybe it still is. Just West of here the mountains and the really challenging parts of the Trans-Sib begin.
