Picture 2 - 6587 kilometres from Moscow (about 4093 miles) Just as a comparison, Halifax to Vancouver Canada by train requires two changes (Montreal and Toronto) and has a length of 6166 kilometres (about 3831 miles).
Picture 3 - I was amazed at how clean the roof of this shunting diesel was.
