If you look on a map you will see that Vladivostok is on a sort of a "land" peninsula with China on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Khabarovsk is where the Trans-Siberian line turns south towards Vladivostok.

Another interesting installment.
Like your station photos. They certainly did not try to save money building them.
The railroad generally appears to be well maintained.
The people appear to look reasonably prosperous, that wouldn't have been the case thirty years ago.

Those stairs are something else when you have any baggage at all. I can't begin to imagine going up are down them with a wheelchair, that's what the metal channels are for .........

Apparently, they don't believe in elevators??? I'd be interested in know how it would be, in general, getting around using a walker or a wheelchair. What about on board? In the stations?
