One morning at FPE yard (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, I spent a morning at Pedra do Sino yard (FPE) while driving on BR040 from Belo Horizonte to Barbacena, MG. FPE is a yard that serves Tupi cement company. I prefered to stay near the upper switching machine side since a freight train was almost ready to depart when I saw if from the road. The links below shows the action I photographed there.

1 and 2: A coal train passing by FPE leaded by a C44EMi and a AC44i bound to Murtinho yard (FJM).

1 - Empty ore speeds at FPE bound to the mines near Belo Horizonte (BH);

2 - Another coal train arrives to switch in the yard;

3 - After a crew change the freight starts to move bound to FJM yard.
