150 Ton Big Hook and PA 19 on the Pacifico Railroad of Mexico

Photo taken at the former Empalme Sonora Mexico Shops of the FCP,(former SP of Mexico).  Shop famous for it rebuilding of Alco Road power, including the PA 17 and 19

That ain't no 250 ton crane! 150 tons maybe but not 250. For starters, 4 wheel trucks vs 6 wheel trucks and the boom is nowhere big enough.

Well, two folks past the Sunday Photo test !  So I changed to 150 ton, until somesays that is wrong too!.

DH 19 (in a much more attractive paint scheme) was the engine for my first train ride, Montreal to Albany in July 1970.
