JR East Ohi Maintenance Facility hosted its Open House today.

A tractor was outside the 45 ton Crane facility, where a car will be left up to strip the tracks. 
Kuha 217 was there  for the lifting demonstration.

JR East was really preparing for the day. Two Royal engines (Class EF 58 and EF 81) were among the display.

I can't see the number from your photos, but I'm assuming it's EF58 #61, the Royal engine stored serviceable by JR East?

Yes, Sir! It was #61.

Yes, it is.  a clean facility where safety is.

This is the safety awareness board near the entrance.

Now, close look at the board, it reveals what they are displaying today!
Electric locomotives: EF81 and EF 64;
EMUs: class  209, E217, E231, E233 and E235.

This facility is the main facility of JR East. 
This FY 2018 (April to March 2019, it plans to maintain 1762 cars.
So far 682 cars were taken care of as of 24 Aug. 2018. 
Today, it holds 85 cars in the facily.
