Rumo railroad starts the double stack in Brazil

Hi, today Rumo started the double stack trains in Brazil. Train D60 departured Rondonópolis, MT to Sumaré, SP. The distance from each other is about 1,250 km.

Is this standard or five foot gage? Where were the well cars built?

Hi, these are broad gauge cars (1,600mm) made in Brazil by Greenbrier Maxion

Interesting to see. Do you know how many cars they are running per train?

Hi, the first train run with about 40 cars, but only the first cars with double stack. It was a testing to check the new system. From now on, the next train will be all double stack.
