finse is the center for snow equipment during the winter months.   after the line was rebuilt and a couple of long tunnels were  built the line seldom has to shut down. two of the  stations are built with the mountains and one is  covered completely by a snow shed. the right of way was lifted  yp so the  snow blows right over the tracks. just the same when it  blows up there visibility is just about zero. the line is under CTC . so chanches for collisions are rare. there are no trees up her at 3500 feet above sea level. there are about 10to 12 trains a day that use the line
