Found on my "lost" SD card

Last night, I finally found several SD cards that I had "misplaced" during multiple moves several years ago.  Back in August 2008 when I took this I wasn't a railfan, and I doubt I even noticed the train - I was just taking pictures to document transiting the Panama Canal.  So I was pleasantly surprised today to realize that I have a picture of a train on the Panama Canal Railway.

That has to be one of the most unique places to have ever photographed a train.
What a wonderful experience. Most envious.

Submarines make for terrible surfboards - they really belong under waves as opposed to trying to surf through them.

I can't say it was a "wonderful" experience, but it certainly was unique.  Can't say that I've ever seen another picture of a train from a submarine.

When I transited the canal on a cruise ship we were locked through with a Royal Navy Sub and a US Gunboat too.
No trains that trip, in 1987.
