International Railroad Discussion > Mauritania & More

There is a really interesting long desert railroad in Mauritania, hauling iron ore from a far-inland mine to a port on the Atlantic. It also carries passengers. A fascinating documentary can be streamed from CuriosityStream. It is called "On the Rails." There are other episodes in the series, all excellent, but the Mauritania is the best, in my opinion.

CuriosityStream does have a fee but it's pretty low compared to Netflix, etc.
