Back in 1973 spending a week in DeAar, we headed for the south end of the yard to record the departure of a Southbound 25 class 4.8.4 on a passenger
service and had the luck, of recording the crossing of 2-. 25 class on passenger trains

There is a definite lack of SA photos posted here. I have lots but only in the preserved era. I came to late for regular service excepting for the lumber train on the now closed George-Knysna line. So feel free to post more if you have them.
