So, this is apparently a somewhat more advanced and heavier weight HXD1, thus it is based on the older Bombardier Traxx design.

Tractive effort per section is 90,000lbs starting and 60,000lbs continuous. The six section unit is 540,000lbs starting and 360,000lbs continuous - about the same as 3 SD70ACe-T4's. If I understand right, this is due to the lighter axle loads and reducing ability to put the power down.
