Limestone train C104 (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, today morning I could photograph two train here in town: empty logging C775 and limestone C104.  There were other trains, but I had no time to watch them. Here it is C104 passing by Km 623.

1 - 3) Vale mining BBB40-9Ws leading C104 in the grade of Km 623.

Are containers secured onto flatcars or just placed there and hoping they do not shift/move during train movement?

Thanks.

Looking at the containers, a lot of them were protected by wood stakes.  Others had steel receptacles for the corners of the containers.

No, very far from that location. The pile of ballast and pieces of rail you see in the video is from the new switching key they added in the location for the new coal loading and uploading plant they are building in there.
