Empty ore C767 with five BB40-9W'S (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, today was a nice day for train watching here in town. I could spend a few hours near the tracks watching the most interesting trains. I started with empty ore train for limestone C767 that arrived here with five BB40-9W'S,  three of them in tow to be used with loaded ore trains returning to Vale system later.

1 - 3) C767 entering EVP yard.

4 - 6) The train had 84 narrow gauge GDE class ore cars.

25 to 30 trains a day. In the grain harvest it can have a bit more.

Nice empty ore train with the 5 units. I didn't realize you had so many trains a day in your backyard Pedro, that really cool. We're up to over 40 a day lately in my backyard.

Yes, VLI and Vale are narrow gauge in my area. Only MRS is broad gauge here.
