Freight train C706 was almost buried in mud when passing through a tight cut at Km 615 near EDY location. It is near the ranch of my friend Cabral, the owner of those railfan dogs that I posted one or two thread here in TO.

That, and the heavier rain that Brazil gets at this time, which creates the mudslides shown, probably have a lot to do with these events. There simply is no place for the mud to flow except over the tracks.
