International Railroad Discussion > The pushers are in a hurry (Brazil)Date: 07/15/22 06:12 The pushers are in a hurry (Brazil) Author: pedrop MRS railroad release these videos of speed tests done in its "Ferrovia do Aço" ( Steel railroad) line showing a set of pushers reaching 110 km/hour. They are testing the tracks to set new speed of the ore trains and also to speed the return of the pushers to their bases.

Lot of dust rising from track used to about 30 MPH??? They probably can not do that speed on the dual gauge track, right?

So, I imagine the concerns about crossing levels and animals will be tbe same they have nowadays. MRS trains use to run in good speed here, different from VLI that is much slower.
