A couple of Penzance UK memories mid-1980's

Here's a couple of shots I took back in the mid-1980.s at Penzance. Are these locomotives still running?

Yes, according to a recently posted TOPS list on the Freightmaster forum there are 14 Class 08 shunters still operating on Network Rail and two of the similar Class 09 shunters.

Not in Penzance, but there are 08 shunters (switchers) at places like Cardiff Tidal which switch the steelworks.
