International Railroad Discussion > Freight train O681 (Brazil)Date: 12/26/22 16:51 Freight train O681 (Brazil) Author: pedrop Hi,
On Christmas eve I had nice trains here in town. MRS freight O681 was one of them. These MRS trains use to pass here at night, but these days they are running in the sun lights. This train is bringing containers with parts for mining companies and other industries nearby. The gondolas are for cast iron. 1) The train stopped near the Liz Cement plant at Km 628 to waiting licence; 2 - 3) The train at Km 629. Regards,DK Date: 12/26/22 17:31 Re: Freight train O681 (Brazil) Author: pedrop For while, only Rumo rr uses double stack. Rumo uses Brado well cars for this job. Brado is a company in Rumo group.
MRS have a few sets of well cars but do not uses double stack since it has many tunnels that needs to be reworked for this kind of trains. Here is a video of Rumo double stack http://youtu.be/RE7Rd63qmpU DKay Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Do they do any double stacking in Brazil Pedro. > Still limited to certain routes down here in > Australia. > Regards,DK Pedro Rezende Vespasiano MG, https://youtube.com/c/minasgeraisrailways1 Date: 12/26/22 19:48 Re: Freight train O681 (Brazil) Author: Ritzville Nice video with lots of colorful single containers and interesting gondolas.
