International Railroad Discussion > Empty ore in FCY - part 2 (Brazil)Date: 02/23/23 15:41 Empty ore in FCY - part 2 (Brazil) Author: pedrop Here it is the second train I watched in Carandai (FCY). This one has GDU class ore cars, that has 144 gross tons each. The normal GDT class has 130 gross tons.

I am seeing a lot about your mudslides from heavy rains on my evening news down here. Any disruptions in your area.

In my area is not raining too much, but in the state borders there were big storms. There was a derailment with a limestone train in the border of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais on 02/22. Rumors say that two BB36-7 fell into a deep canyon and maybe will be scrapped there. The engineer miraculously survived. I didn't receive pictures of the accident. Maybe they will come soon.
