It is time for me to do the Springtime 2023 report from the Tokyo-Yokohama area. Two days in a roll, we got rainy days, not good to be outside taking photos. But I did, anyway. Here are another set from the Yotsuya area, Tokyo Metro, and Marunouchi line train. Hiroshi DKay Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Beautiful Heroshi. Continue walking toward the Iidabashi station via the Ichigawaya station. Found this westbound, Cyuou-Sobu local Class 231, below the bank. Larry Date: 03/27/23 16:53 Re: Spring time in Tokyo Author: Hiroshi Ritsville-san. Thank you for stopping by.
Over the years, you see generation changes. Good ole big trees were gone. Planting new trees for tomorrow's view. JR retired older EMUs, class 103, 201. Now, classes 231 and 233 are seen here. But, still, here is a fun and good spot to be in during this time of the year. Despite living in the U.S., I have fond memories of riding the Class 103 and 201 EMUs. Thank you for continuing your "Spring Time in Tokyo" tradition, Hiroshi-san! Yes, they were good ole days of railroading in the Tokyo area. Some from the Denen Chofu area.
