1943 Baldwin down under

yesterday i was lucky to see this 1943 USATC 2-8-2  S118 class , export model for Australia ,going for a test run  whilst i was on vacation here in Queensland 

not sure how many others in the world are operational 

but there is another identical locomotive also in Australia at the Zig Zag railway  in New South Wales  that is running i was told

They are based on the USATC design, but they were
built for the Department of Railways New South Wales
in 1952-53 by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton.

there is a Baldwin loco working in NSW a 59 class from the 1950s i think
