Sandaoling steam hangs on in China

Steam operation at the Sandaoling coal mine in northwestern China continues, with a new facility known by fans as the "Blue Loader" being served by steam.  JS 2-8-2 8077 was photographed in operation there on May 11, 2023.  A report from late October 2022 said that 3 or 4 JS engines were in daily operation.  Way fewer than in previous years but still not zero..
