Trucker driver blasts through "absolute stop" traffic light. Any chance that the truck lost its brakes? Otherwise, this is an example of grade crossing problems we see all around the world. I am glad that apparently no one was injured. Date: 02/18/24 15:48 Re: Almost a tragedy (Brazil) Author: pedrop No problem with the brakes of the trucks. Many truck drivers do not like to stop for trains here. We have many accidents like that every year.

Doggone shame the engines did not hit the truck tractor with that lousy driver.
Date: 02/18/24 17:50 Re: Almost a tragedy (Brazil) Author: 1019X Glad no one was hurt. What is the blue Rumo car that was right behind the locomotives? I first thought it was a box car but it also looked like a bulkhead flat with a trarp.
Sounds like one of the locomotives was still running. Like the old Timex watch ads "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!" Date: 02/18/24 18:51 Re: Almost a tragedy (Brazil) Author: pedrop That was a track scanning car built from an old "all door" car.
