Visiting EWL yard (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Yesterday 6/16, I visited Wilson Lobato yard - EWL to take some drone pictures. The yard is the third heading to North after EVP yard here in town. Is also served by dual gauge since broad gauge MRS and narrow gauges Vale and VLI use those tracks too. The location is common used to join two VLI 45 grain cars trains coming from Pirapora branch to form a 90 grain cars train to Vale mining system.
EWL also houses the VLI welding yard and a small locomotive and freight cars shops, where the locomotives are fueled, get sand, have inspection on brake shoes, wheels and small repairs.

Almost a "park-like" setting for a major railroad facility.  How attractive and interesting, Pedro.  Thanks!

Very enjoyable series Pedro! Like your drone shots of the yard, a busy place.
