This isn't HSR - NOT ribbon rail with expansion joints. Kagoshima Line near Kumamoto. Maybe A.I. (translation software) sucks? No derailment, and the engineer reported slight train handling issues. About 3 hours disruption. Likely stick rail with regular joints, so relatively easy to remedy.
