It's just a small gap on the tracks (Brazil)

   I received this picture and the today showing a broken rail in the Rumo rr system in São Paulo area. Impressive how the cars can pass through the big gap oppened on the tracks without derail.

Yes, it was done after that train. The rail was broken due to the low temp during the night.

Go to that tube site and do a search for "Army does experiment in derailing a train" in WW2. It's amazing on how much these things will take before the *hit hits the fan.
