Impressive how the cars can pass through the big gap oppened on the tracks without derail.

It's amazing on how much these things will take before the *hit hits the fan.

Incredible how that train was running the gap - of course only working as it wasn't on a curved section.
Date: 09/11/24 08:46 Re: It's just a small gap on the tracks (Brazil) Author: engineerinvirginia On tangent track you can negotiate a break pretty easily...in curves it's not so certain...even so...I have had MOW people drive a spike into the gap of a broken rail...in a curve...and have me come over it at walking speed...the whole train.....we always make it....they know what they are doing.
