Sand train C663 (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

Hi, today morning I found Vale mining sand train C663 passing through EVP yard here in town. That is the A2 class sand produced from the mud of iron ore processing at Brucutu mine. The A2 is a dirty sand and is been used to do a fill where a new railroad pear will be built to load limestone at ENG yard. The A1 type is a clean sand to use in civil construction.

1 - 2) U20C 2555 is one of the four units parked on track 4. At side, we see the VLI narrow gauge Loram gridding machine;

3) Sand train C663 running on track 2.
