Picture sharpening II

Thanks for the replies. I shoot a Nikon D60 with a Nikon 18-200 zoom, generally try to use a tripod, and remote release for stills. I shoot in FINE mode, not RAW. Thanks for the comments.
I cannot really discern whether the gain is worth more computer time/effort and frustration

At least make sure VR is OFF when you have your rig mounted on a tripod and the pan/tilt head is loose.

yes I generally remember to do this--then I forget to put it back on when it is off the trip[od!

I say get Photoshop elements. If you want to go big time step up to light room. Best thing around IMHO.
