HTML tags and codes for TO's? Ie; bold, underline, ect
Author: Mgoldman

Was wondering about the policy and "how to's" of underlining,
making bold and coloring of text on TO's...

I've seen it here but was never sure how patrons were going
about it - and whether or not it was acceptable.

I've never been reprimanded for it. Using bold, oblique, and underlined text is easier on the eyes and more effective THAN USING CAPS.

To do it, surround the text you wish to modify with the HTML tags in the attached image.

trainjunkie --
Thanks for the info! Now I know
how to do that, too! (It was not
at all obvious to me.)

<U>Thanks</U><I>!</I>

I figured it was that easy but got the odd impression it did
not work within the threads here on TO's. I've seen some
tags that work in one place yet not another - RP and Altamont
Press for instance.

I use tags all the time on TO to post links to off-site news items and images.
