Railfan Technology > Editing Video ColorDate: 02/14/15 08:24 Editing Video Color Author: MilwMike First off I am new to converting to digital.
I have been converting some of my videos that were recorded on mini-DVD's to digital format. However, when I convert them they seem to look as if the color is faded. If I watch the videos directly from the camcorder on the TV the color is very good, not so once I convert them to wmv or MP4 format. Are there any programs out there that will help restore all or some of the color? Or is there a way to convert the video to a digital format without the loss of color? Thanks in advance for any help you can lend. MilwMike Date: 02/14/15 19:11 Re: Editing Video Color Author: biff What are you using to convert your mini DVD disc's to digital ?

Mike Date: 02/18/15 03:20 Re: Editing Video Color Author: biff Am I correct in thinking after you convert them you watch them on your computer, not your TV ? If that's the case it might be your computers monitor needs adjustment.

The plan was to include some of the short clips in a slide show presentation that I am working on. I was just thinking that it maybe the monitor settings, but the still photos have great color on the same monitor.
