Railfan Technology > Trainorders Web HostingDate: 10/10/15 00:07 Trainorders Web Hosting Author: Mgoldman I tried to use Firezilla just now - first time in quite some time, and was not able to connect to TO's.
Was the site down or have things changed since my last visit? I updated to the latest "Firezilla" and I get a dialog box "Connect to Server" Server Address: - assume is is ftp.trainorders.com Port - a default shows as 14147 so I left it. And Administration password - assume it is my member password. Firezilla seems quite bland and featureless - not many features or adjustments I can see. Seems I have no choice here but to watch it roll with: FileZilla Server 0.9.53 beta Copyright 2001-2015 by Tim Kosse (tim.kosse@filezilla-project.org) https://filezilla-project.org/ Connecting to server ftp.trainorders.com:14147... Even http://members.trainorders.com/myusername (substituted) birngs up a blank page while ftp.trainorders.com initially brought up previously loaded files, now all I get is This webpage is not available ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT Could it have something to do with my antivirus? Worked with it before.... Kaspersky. EDIT (Disabled antivirus - no change.) /Mitch Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/10/15 00:10 by Mgoldman. FWIW, it works for me but I don't use Filezilla. I'm on a Mac and use Transmit. Perhaps a different FTP client will help you? Access from here to both FTP and the member pages is normal. Date: 10/10/15 14:48 Re: Trainorders Web Hosting Author: jst3751 Standard default FTP port is 21. I checked and that connected.
Date: 10/10/15 22:10 Re: Trainorders Web Hosting Author: Mgoldman Changed port to "21" with no luck.
I was able to get into (once again) the member directory and my previous uploaed files but stil can not figure out why Firezilla is not connecting. Dropbox will suffice for now - but if anyone has any further ideas or insight, let me know. /Mitch Date: 10/10/15 23:50 Re: Trainorders Web Hosting Author: NSDash9 To access with FileZilla:
Host: = ftp.trainorders.com Username: = your Trainorders User Login name Password: = your regular Trainorders password Port: = leave blank Click connect and it should connect you to your ftp space. Date: 10/11/15 19:13 Re: Trainorders Web Hosting Author: Mgoldman NSDash9 Wrote:

I might be able to install an older version of FireZilla. /Mitch Date: 10/11/15 20:48 Re: Trainorders Web Hosting Author: NSDash9 Mitch:
I am using the latest version of FileZilla, version 3.14.0 See the attached screen image with red arrows added to highlight what I was referring to in my last message. Chris Toth Date: 10/11/15 21:41 Re: Trainorders Web Hosting Author: pmack In the first box (also using filezilla), I put members.trainorders.com but no ftp.
One of the lines I got was this one: Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS. I don't know what it means but it still connected. Date: 10/11/15 22:49 Re: Trainorders Web Hosting Author: Mgoldman NSDash9 Wrote:

Sorry everyone - I must have downloaded the wrong file. Seems I have the "FireZilla Server Interface"? It just brought up a small dialog box as opposed to the feature full program. I'm good! Found the correct - recognizable FireZilla. Thanks! /Mitch |
